Canadian mutual fund sales for July more than tripled from a year ago, according to a trade group. Sales exceeded redemptions by $2.7-billion to $3.2-billion, the Toronto-based Investment Funds Institute of Canada said yesterday in a preliminary report sent by e-mail. Sales in July, 2006, were $854-million.
