SNC Lavalin Group (SNC-TSX)

An engineering and construction company, providing ownership and management of infrastructure SNC has an order backlog that Mr. Burrows says "is not going away."

A safe place to be in today's volatile market; Mr. Burrows will begin spending once the market firms up.

OUTLOOK

Mr. Burrows believes quantitative risk models have been highlighting narrowing market breadth since June, signalling caution is required. Looking forward he recommends having cash and reducing exposure to equity positions that hit stops or fail to rally on market strength.
