With over 6000 different mutual funds now available, one of the most convenient features of Globefund.com is the ability to set up a list of funds and indexes that interest you personally. These can be funds that you own or just funds that you are interested in following.
Your fundlist can be used to generate reports and charts that are tailored specifically to your interests.
Note that you do not need to register or provide any personal information to set up a fundlist. Your fundlist is stored on the computer you are using, so be aware that all users sharing a computer also share the same fundlist.
On a technical note, setting up a fundlist requires that your Web browser be set up to accept a 'cookie' (browsers are normally set up this way). If your browser does not accept cookies, you will not be able to set up a fundlist.
If you are having any difficulty setting up a fundlist, be sure to check the Preferences in your browser to ensure that it will accept cookies.
If you use more than one Web browser on your computer, the fundlist set up with one browser will not be accessible when you are using a different browser.
If you want to add another fund from the same company, select another fund from the pull-down list and click Add to Fundlist.
To add a fund from another fund company, click Select another fund company, and repeat steps 2 and 3.
There is another way to add and delete funds from your Fundlist, and that is through the Fund Report. On a Fund Report, there is a column on the left side of the report that has a checkbox. If there is a check in the checkbox, it means the fund is part of your fundlist.
To add a fund to your fundlist, click in the checkbox to add a checkmark and then click Update Fundlist (a button found both at the top and bottom of the report). You must click Update Fundlist before scrolling to the next or previous page of the report.
To delete a fund from your fundlist, simply click in the checkbox to remove a checkmark, and click Update Fundlist before scrolling to the next or previous page of the report.
