The indices available on globefund.com range from various world benchmark indexes to the TSE 300 and the TSE 300's 14 separate sub-indices. You can compare the returns of your mutual funds to any of these benchmark indexes. Here's how:

1. Chart your fund against an index: Click Charts on the black bar at the top of any globefund.com page. You will be prompted to select a fund to chart and will be given the option of comparing your fund to an index.
2. Add an index to your fundlist: You can see at-a-glance how the funds in your fundlist are performing against an index by simply adding that index to your fundlist. To do this, select Create/Update under the Fundlist heading on the left side of the home page. This takes you to a screen where there is an option labelled Adding an index to Your Fundlist. Select one of the indexes from the pull-down list, and click Add an Index to Fundlist.

   Click View Your Fundlist on the globefund.com home page to view your fundlist. To evaluate the performance of your funds in this calendar month, as example, go to the Short-term report and click the column heading MTD %. Your funds will be sorted in ascending order. Funds listed above a particular index have so far outperformed the index for the calendar month (their return is greater than that of the index). Funds listed below a particular index have a return less than that of the index.
